At Mix By Ear, we want you to be completely satisfied with your subscription. If our service doesn't meet your expectations, we offer a straightforward refund policy to make things right.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All paid subscriptions come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with Mix By Ear for any reason within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, contact us and we'll process a full refund—no questions asked.

This guarantee applies to:

  • New subscriptions (after your free trial ends)
  • Plan upgrades (within 30 days of the upgrade)
  • Annual subscription payments (within 30 days of payment)

3. Free Trial

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. During your trial:

  • You have full access to all features of your chosen plan
  • No payment is required to start your trial
  • You can cancel anytime before the trial ends without being charged
  • If you don't cancel, your subscription will automatically begin and you'll be charged at the end of the trial period

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  2. Include "Refund Request" in the subject line
  3. We'll process your request within 5-7 business days
  4. Refunds are credited to your original payment method

5. Refunds After 30 Days

After the 30-day guarantee period, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We may offer partial refunds or account credits in situations such as:

  • Extended service outages that significantly impacted your use
  • Billing errors on our part
  • Documented technical issues that prevented normal use

6. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Mix By Ear account
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Click Manage Subscription
  4. Select Cancel Subscription

When you cancel:

  • You'll retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period
  • Your subscription will not renew
  • Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan
  • Your projects and data will be retained according to Free plan limits

7. Subscription Renewals

Automatic Renewal: All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel. You will be charged the then-current rate for your plan.

Renewal Notifications: We'll send you a reminder email before your subscription renews, giving you time to cancel if you no longer wish to continue.

Price Changes: If we change our pricing, we'll notify you at least 30 days before your next renewal. You can cancel before the new price takes effect if you don't agree to the change.

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Partial months of service after cancellation (you keep access until period ends)
  • Account credits or promotional offers
  • Add-on services consumed (such as archived project storage fees)
  • Refund requests made more than 90 days after the original charge

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first. We're committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly. Filing a chargeback with your bank without first contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
